The Heather Andrews Show │Lisa Bovee

Lisa Bovee

In this podcast interview with Lisa Bovee we will learn:

Who Is Lisa Bovee?

Lisa Bovee is bad ass mama; mimi; friend, and human. While teaching and running a successful tech writing, legal editing and book publishing business, Lisa lost her twenty-two-year-old son, Conner, in a tragic car accident the day after ‘Thanksgiving’ 2016.

Lisa has been GUIDED BY GRIEF to create a legacy in her son’s name (ConnerBoveeLove.org) and she is creating a MOVEMENT to change the conversation about grief and loss from private, ugly & uncomfortable to OPEN, NORMAL & SUPPORTIVE.

Lisa also speaks on the topic of grief and loss and co-hosts a podcast called Kicking Grief’s Ass with Conner’s best friend, Steven. Her book, Guided by Grief launches on February 22, 2018.

Her Book

Guided by Grief: Always Remember is the heart-warming memoir of a mother who, after losing her 22-year-old son, spent many nights searching for “the why,” falling to her knees in broken-hearted desperation, and smashing plates out of anger. Lisa takes her readers on an unforgettable journey of loss (she has experienced dozens) of love (the love she gives and receives is astonishing) and of support (her Angel Team will blow your mind) and finally of how grief guided her to re-purpose her life.

This edition also includes Heart Work sections, additional compelling narratives on grief and loss from contributing authors on loss of a spouse, pet loss, parent loss, job loss, and friend loss.

This edition also contains a touching and never before published contemporary folk tale about a zebra mama who has lost her baby.
